This is a very timely topic, Ryan. You lay out the issue concisely, show advantages and diadvantages of these tools and also givea nicely personalized synopsis of the issue. Caught a coup;le of minor typors here: parents are diveded (sp.); and I believe that you wanted to word "legislation" rather than "litigation" in terms of what states would like to create in response to this issue. Not only do you give the background and history of the bbs in a clear, concise manner - you give the reader a great understanding abou thow this tool can be used to help student learning. There have been a lot of extensions of this early technology since - Wiki, blogs, IM, to name a few - but the essence is the same. A bbs gives students an asynchronous - but valuabloe tool to increase communication. Thanks! JAK

The article from the webopedia site provides some adtl info as well. Wonder if if would be helpful to include
the price for subscription so that anyone thinking about United Streaming could know the cost factor?

We once had some samples of AT that our students oculd work with but
it's time for us to order some new tools. It's interesting that some of the most simple

Nice work; as a future science teacher I can truly see myself using this digital story telling for my students. Would you consider (if its possible) linking to more step by step instruction for lower grades who need the reinforcement? Just a thought. Over all - great job.
